FAQ: FAQ

What should I consider when choosing a home care provider?

The first three things you should consider is licensing, insurance and caregiver registration:

  • In California, all home care organizations must be registered with the home care service bureau. Our organization number is 374700221.

  • Home Care Aides, aka caregivers, working for a home care organization are required to be listed in the home care aide registry. A registered caregiver shows that they have gone through and passed a full background check.

  • Rest assured knowing that our caregivers are 100% fully insured.

What is the purpose of a Home Care organization number and a Home Care Aide registry?

Commencing January 2016, The Home Care Services Consumer Protection Act was enforced. Under this law, Home Care Organizations are required to be licensed and it creates a public online registry for Home Care Aides who have been background checked. The purpose of this law is intended to promote consumer protection for elderly and disabled individuals who hire private aides to come into their homes and provide assistance.

Can I bypass a Home Care Organization and directly hire an independent private Home Care Aide?

Absolutely. However, directly hiring an independent caregiver could mean that you are responsible for them as an employer. If so, you as the employer will be responsible for maintaining liability insurance and workers comp. Should a caregiver be injured while providing care, and unless you have workers comp, it will be your responsibility to cover all medical costs incurred.

Our organization is fully covered with liability insurance, workers comp, and a surety bond. Let us carry that obligation so you and your loved ones don't have to.

How long has your organization been providing care for?

We have been established since 2018; we are a fully owned and operated family organization.

Are your caregivers insured?

Yes. All our caregivers are bonded and fully insured. This means that they are fully covered by our liability and workers compensation insurances.

Do you provide free consultations?

Absolutely. There are no strings attached. We hope you choose us for your care needs, but there are no obligations.

Can I cancel services at any time?

Yes. There are no term requirements. All we ask is that you provide us an advance notice, if possible.

What if I don't see an answer for a question I have?
